KPM series

KPM is intended for applications where the battery is required to sustain electrical loads for between 30 minutes to 3 hours or for combined loads involving a mix of high and low discharge rates.The current discharge ranges from 0.5C5 (A) to 3.5C5 (A).

General characteristics of Ni - Cd accumulators and batteries type KPM (in accordance with IEC 60623)

1) Long service life
2) Operation in the temperature range from -50 ° to + 50 ° C
3) Minimal maintenance
4) A little self-discharge

Ni - Cd batteries with lamellar electrodes (and batteries consisting of these batteries) have been successfully charged for use for decades.They meet all operational requirements, even in the most extreme conditions.

Charging conditions for KPM batteries:
1) Constant charging voltage:
a.Maintenance: 1.40 ÷ 1.42 V / battery
b.Fast charging: 1.50 ÷ 1.70 V / battery
2) Constant current at + 20 ° C:
a.Standard charge: 0.2 C5 A for 8h
b.Fast charging: 0.3 C5 A in 3.5 hours, followed by charging with 0.2 C5 A in 2.5 hours
c.Charge maintenance: 0.001 - 0.002 C5 A / Ah

Discharge: 0,5 – 3,5 C5
